48th International Conference on Boundary Elements and other Mesh Reduction Methods

The International Conference on Boundary Elements and other Mesh Reduction Methods (BEM/MRM), founded by the Wessex Institute of Technology (WIT) in 1978, has attracted high quality researchers and papers since its founding. The 48th Edition of the conference (BEM/MRM 48) will be held in Dalian China, as an affiliated conference with WIT. Since 1978, the conference has advanced numerical methods for engineering applications that reduce modeling dimensions, such as the Boundary Element Method (BEM), or reduce mesh for discretization, such as meshless methods. The meeting welcomes all academic and industrial stakeholders interested in the methods, and particularly the participation of young researchers. The meetings have produced a collection of edited volumes in which major developments in the field have been reported.
