Researching Play – Challenges and Opportunities

Play is studied across the whole range of academic disciplines, from computing science to sports science and from history to philosophy. Across these diverse disciplines a vast range of methodologies and methods are used to arrive at a better understanding of the fascinating phenomenon of children’s play. ‘Researching Play – Challenges and Opportunities’ aims to share effective ways of researching play and to promote discussion about the methodical challenges faced by play researchers. This conference seeks to stimulate a multidisciplinary exchange of knowledge and experience, and abstracts are welcome from researchers studying play from any discipline.
