About the Author
Lisa Granger has nearly 20 years of experience dealing with various types of insurance, including workers compensation, personal and commercial liability. She has over 10 years experience working in health and safety, as well as human resources. She has attained her Honors BA with a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management. She also has her designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).Ms.Granger is an instructor at St. Clair College for the Department of Business Administration - Human Resources Management. She has developed a 12 course post-graduate certificate program for St. Clair College in claims management for employers, HR professionals, and health and safety professionals. The program is due to launch in January 2011.
Ms.Granger has served as Chairperson of the HR Advisory Committee for St. Clair College for the past several years. She also has spoken at several conferences, seminars and workshops all over southwestern Ontario for the Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) on developing effective claims management, health and safety and return to work programs.
