About the Author

Clifford Borg-Marks was born in Malta and started learning Chinese at high school age. He is a graduate in Chinese Literature from Peking University in Beijing, China. He has worked as a diplomat and as a lawyer, and has published books on Chinese intellectual property law as well as a literary translation into his native Maltese language of a compilation of short stories by the well-known Chinese author, Lu Xun (1881-1936).
