We would like to invite you all to join the International Social Work Congress 2016 at Hacettepe University. The congress will be held in November 21-23, 2016 in Ankara, Turkey. Hacettepe University Social Work Department is a pioneer in social work education at undergraduate, MSW and PhD levels in Turkey. The Congress is organized with an aim to address the emerging need to explore the response of social work in local, national and international social problems. We hope to achieve this by focusing on the future of social work. The purpose of this meeting is to bring academics, researchers, educators and practitioners to present their ideas on social work education, organization of social services, social policies, changing needs of vulnerable groups and service provisions, with a specific focus on the future of social work.
