Bandits and outlaws in the Alps
from Middle Ages to early nineteenth century

The Valle Camonica Historical and Anthropological Society announces that is open the Call for Papers for the I.S.T.A. 2015 theme «Bandits and outlaws in the Alps from Middle Ages to early nineteenth century» related to the research of case studies about characters or bands of outlaws in the Alps between the Middle Ages and the first nineteenth century.
The texts should describe important cases of banditry, preferably analyzing a single protagonist, reporting both historical or archive documentation and popular traditions and legends.
The Call for papers is open to all persons interested: professors, students, researches, scholars or experts in the field. Within the 31st May 2015 the candidates must send a an abstract (summary) of the paper they want submit, filling out the attached form.
