This workshop is designed to bring together researchers who study plant mitochondrial genomics, genetics and biochemistry. The topics to be covered include mitochondria and the begining of life, the unique mode of mitochondrial inheritance, regulatory coordination between the mitochonrion and the nucleus, regulation of the mitochondrial activities, mitochondrial gene expression, repiration and fitness, ROS and autophagy/mitophagy.
