About the Author

Petter Gottschalk is Professor of Knowledge Management in the Department of Leadership and Organization at the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo, Norway. He received his education at the Technical University of Berlin (Germany), Dartmouth College and MIT (USA), and Brunel University (UK). Dr. Gottschalk has been the CEO of several business and public organizations, including ABB Datacables Inc. He is currently conducting research in crime and law enforcement with colleagues at the Norwegian Police University College.
