The purpose of the book is to deliver a critical review of the literature and author's research data relevant for understanding the phenomena of curiosity, information seeking behavior, and novelty seeking. Wojciech Pisula, Ph.D., is Professor of comparative psychology at the Institute of Psychology of Polish Academy of Sciences and Helena Chodkowska University of Management and Law. He is a fellow of the Foundation for Polish Science, member of Sigma Xi, member of the National Committee for Ethics in Animal Experimentation in Poland, and was a fellow of the Polish-US Fulbright Commission Award in 1996.
